The Iowa Legal Aid Foundation was created in 2005 as the philanthropic fundraising entity for Iowa Legal Aid. The Foundation has evolved into an independent nonprofit organization with a committed Board of Directors, raising over $800,000 in 2022 to support Iowa Legal Aid.

Donations can be made to Iowa Legal Aid by mail to 666 Walnut Street, 25th Floor, Des Moines, IA 50309 or you may visit the Iowa Legal Aid Foundation website and select the "donate" button to make a secure on-line donation. Donations to Iowa Legal Aid are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

In light of IRS regulations regarding charitable contributions, we are required to state that Iowa Legal Aid provides no goods or services in consideration of contributions. We are required to inform you that the funds you donate may not and will not be expended for any purpose prohibited by the Legal Services Corporation (LSC) Act, LSC appropriation acts and LSC regulations.
